After the Radio-One contract for her syndicated radio program "The Yolanda Adams Morning Show" expired, the gospel singer's last radio show aired in April. After a six month hiatus, the Grammy Award-winning gospel songstress will join AMAZING 102.5 FM in Houston, Texas, which will also broadcast the program worldwide onwww.amazing1025fm.com.

Adams is excited that her radio program has found a new home.

"We are so excited that our voices will be heard again to impact the world at such a time in history. Our voices impact people's hearts to invoke awareness, encouragement and change," Adams said in a statement obtained by The Christian Post. "We are honored and humbled for all the support and love. We promise to give it back in great measure."

Many elements of Adams' show that have become familiar to her fans will return such as her comedian co-host Marcus Wiley and popular segments such as Points of Power, Inside Inspiration, Bishop Secular and Yolanda's Take.

Adams previously said goodbye to her radio listeners last April. She took to Instagram to speak about her transition while assuring fans that God had something else in store for her.

"As of this morning The Yolanda Adams Morning Show has transitioned, we thank you for all of your support and love," Adams previously wrote on social media. "We love all of you. Tune in to see the great things God is now doing with us. We love you dearly!"

While fellow gospel singer Erica Campbell's show "Get Up! Mornings with Erica Campbell" started to air on Adams' syndicated Radio-One morning show slot, the network spoke about gratitude for the work the former has previously done on the network.

"'The Yolanda Adams Morning Show' contract expired and will not be renewed," Radio-One announced in a statement earlier this year. "We are grateful for the years of dedicated service Yolanda Adams, her two co-hosts, Anthony Valarie (AV), Marcus D. Wiley and staff provided to our listeners and we wish them well in their future endeavors."

Adams previously spoke toThe Christian Postabout being the first woman in gospel music to have a morning radio show in a market dominated by men. Although accomplishing that feat was fulfilling, she realizes that there was a bigger purpose for her taking over the platform each morning.

"I really love helping people and that is my job with this morning show. My job is to let everyone know that they can make it, they don't have to live their lives in defeat," Adams told CP. "...Whatever they speak out of their mouth they get, whether it's good or whether it's bad. Now we're coming up on 10 years and it was an answer to a prayer because as a single mother I wanted to be home most of the week so I could give my full attention to my daughter."

Yolanda Adams will officially return to radio October 3, 2016 on weekday mornings from 6a-10a ET. For more information on Yolanda Adams, visityolandaadamslive.com.
