The most wanted contest seeks to showcase the best of our Christian artists and their songs. It’s aim is to tell the world that; the Christian artists are very capable. Our music, lyrical prowess and great voices have come of age. The focus of the contest therefore is to reward deserving songs and their artists. The most wanted competition is based on radio airplay for Christian songs. The radio content is derived from the intrigues of having people of different backgrounds and disciplines in the Christian community select the most wanted Christian song. Thus, every year listeners decide the most wanted songs of the said year. Nominations received are computed and the 10 most nominated songs are entered into the most wanted. The idea is to select one of the 10 songs as the 'most wanted' song for the said year. The general public then vote for their favourite song via text and online. The song with the most votes, wins. Listeners are encouraged to critically listen to the songs and access them based on: Ability to inspire Depth of lyrics Strength of melody/ Ability to get people singing Ability to entertain Voice quality Superior engineering. This year around by the grace of God few of our very own Urban Gospel Music artists have been nominated for the awards.
