After more than 15 years since his last national release, 2017 marks the year of the return of MR REAL, the General is back. Open Your Eyes will be the first of three singles released before MR REAL's new album entitled 'AWAKENED'.

Open Your Eyes features one half of the Dove award winning, Grammy, Stella, and BET nominated group Tri-i-Tee 5:7, Angel Taylor, and produced by none other than Tone Jonez.

Open Your Eyes is a song inspired by the constant violence our culture has been plagued with in recent years. With our country facing so much division and tension from Police shooting, riots, BLM, and the daily mudering of our youth in the inner cities, Open Your Eyes sends a clear message of hope that change is just a look in the mirror away.
