Many are called, but the chosen are few. When God calls, some times, it can be scary and uncertain, and as such many don't heed the call or we tend to procrastinate. But there are 3 things that God promises us, if we accept His call on our lives and do it.

1. God promises strength -- "No one will be able to stand against you." (Joshua 1:5) In other words, what God asks you to do, he'll give you the power to do.

2. God promises success -- "You will be successful." (Joshua 1:6) God wants you to succeed in serving Him. He doesn't want you to be a failure.

3. God promises support -- "I will be with you wherever you go." (Joshua 1:9 NIV) God's word, done God's way, will not lack God's support.

So the next time God calls you to do something, know that He will give you the strength and support you need to accomplish it and to be successful. It can be instant, it could be months, it could be years, but His word never fails. Just keep running the race.
