that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him,
Ephesians 1:17 ESV

The major responsibilities of Christians are just three main things in my opinion. The first is the study of the word of God, the second is the practice of the word of God and then the last is praying the word of God. 

The devil's interest is to stop us from reading and studying to understand the scriptures and also from praying so he can keep us in the place of ignorance for as long as he can because if you don't read or study the Bible you will not know what to pray for or how to pray, and if you don't know how to pray you will not pray.

It is in the study of the word that we see the above scripture and the instructions in there concerning some of the things we should pray for. A Christian must be a person of revelation and not just information. We shouldn't just take decisions on what we think is right or just common sense but we must receive revelations on those decisions if we desire a maximum output.

Pray for the spirit of revelation and wisdom to know more about Christ because when Christ is revealed you and I are unveiled. The more we know Christ Jesus the more we discover who we are in Him and who He is in us. 

Prayer: Thank you Precious Father for your word this morning, thank you for the gift of the Holy spirit in my life. Today I humbly ask and receive more revelations and wisdom about who Jesus is in the scriptures to understand all you have done for me in Christ. Thank you for this blessing in Jesus name amen.
