Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it and indulge it will eat its fruit and bear the consequences of their words.
Proverbs 18:21 AMP

We have been trained in our various societies to always speak and express how we feel to the people close to us especially even in marriages. In Africa especially Ghana we are trained to always overlook the good around us and always speak concerning the bad and terrible things happening around. It's so serious that even on main stream media and social media, people are always talking about bad things or the things they don't want or things that are not just right.

We have also been trained to speak out of our pain instead of the opposite. The above scripture shows us the power our tongue has and the damage it has done to us. The more we keep saying what we don't like, what makes others angry and what makes people feel degraded, that's what's keeps happening. It's time to change the narrative and it begins by changing what you say about yourself and others. Have you noticed that when you keep saying you don't want to be late is when you are late the most for an appointment? As funny as it sounds the tongue is the only tool on your body the releases all the power you received the day you got the Holy spirit so use it wisely. SAY WHAT YOU WANT ACCORDING TO SCRIPTURE AND USE YOUR WORDS TO BLESS AND UPLIFT OTHERS.

PRAYER: LORD Jesus I'm grateful for showing me this great truth. Help me stay remindered about this so I can continue to speak life always no matter the situation. Thanks for loving me in Jesus Precious Name Amen
