So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.

It's very sad how many Christians would listen to everything and everyone else except the word of God. Many of us love to pray, sing worship songs and attend worship concerts and yet very few have time to listen to the word of God or read it. The above scripture is clear on have our Christian faith is received yet in the church, everyone is very active in all activities of the service except the preaching session. You will find many sleeping or dozing off during the Preaching.

The more of God's word you hear and read the more faith you have to receive the promises of God. Faith is very important only because it helps you receive what God's grace has made available. If you don't know what God has said, how do you pray? How do you believe? In Joshua 1:8 we are told that good success is tied to the reading and meditation of the word of God.

Without faith you can't please God, receive from God, resist the devil and help others. Without faith you cannot live the Christian life with the fruits of the spirit because you don't even know what they are. Without faith you can do very little in life because it is they who know Thier God who become strong and do exploits. I encourage you today to read listen and study the word because on of the main ministries of the spirit is to lead us to the word of God. Cultivate this and thank me later.

PRAYER: Father of Lights, I'm grateful for your love and grace in my life. Thank you for showing me the Importance of staying in your word. I ask and receive an overwhelming desire to continue in your word in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
