Paul the Apostle tells Timothy that everything God created on earth is good. And it is to be received with thanksgiving, for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. Yes, when we receive with thanksgiving, even bad things will turn out to be good for you. 

A servant of God named Pastor Roland was doing God’s ministry in South Africa. In the beginning stages of his ministry, he suffered a lot. The South Africans who were jealous of him mixed poison in his food so that he would die. They did this nine times, but it caused him no harm. They did it because of their animosity and resentment against him. But this dear pastor had the habit of praying and thanking God before partaking any food or drink that was offered to him. Since God’s protective hand was upon him, nothing could harm his body. 

My friend, not only your food and water, the Lord God will bless even the Email you get when you receive it with thanksgiving. God’s protective hand will be with you and guard you in amazing ways. Today, God will turn every curse upon you and your family, into a blessing. You also ought to teach others to thank God for everything, especially for the food He has given us. 

Prayer: Amazing Father, I pray for Your protective hand to be upon me. Even when I eat, drink or sleep, Lord I thank You for Your protective hand which surrounds me. Let Your Holy Spirit guide me in teaching the same thankfulness to others too. This I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
