Is God bias?

I still can’t wrap my head around this. Why do some Christians seem to have it all, while others don’t? Why do some suffer, while others are blessed beyond measure? Why do some fall sick and pass away, while others seem to enjoy life without a care? Why do some pray earnestly but never see their prayers answered, while others barely pray and yet seem to receive everything they desire? Why do some serve God faithfully yet face hardship, while others rarely attend church and still succeed?

Deep down, you know your heart is set on spreading the gospel. You’ve sought after God your whole life, prayed for breakthroughs, and yet it feels like everything is working against you. Meanwhile, someone who once lived in sin finds Jesus and suddenly they’re being used by God in incredible ways. You've been serving faithfully in God’s house for years without a breakthrough, while someone new to the church receives theirs within months.

Why is it like this? Why should there be such discrepancies within a religion that preaches equality and fairness? Why does it feel as if God is not for us all but a select few? Why does it feel like God has His favorites? Why does it feel like it's each man for himself?

Chaleeeee tell me something....

God is not fair he is just. There is grace for the salvation of all who belies which is unmerited Ephesians2:8-9. But there is another level of grace tied to some variables of man's relationship with God. He gives more grace to them who are humble James 4:6. The question is whether our understanding of humility is the same as how the Lord defines it. I may not know everything, but this one thing I know, that the Lord is good and if someone is missing the mark it is not Him at fault but us.

As for prayer. James 5 gives us the working formular for prayer that produces results. Until the formular⁹ is properly executed we may pray...yet pray without getting results. It is the combination of the condition of the one who prays and the method and kind of prayer that determines the results.

Sometimes things seem to us like the Lord is not doing anything about what we ask of him, but for us when it gets to that stage, is to completely let him direct our path knowing that he is enough and he knows the purpose for our lives. If out purpose for being here is not fulfilled what then is the reason for being here. I hope this answer is received well.
Thanks for sharing Riri. Preciate it and I hear you very loud. But I still didn't get the answer to why some of these bad things happen to really devout believers whilst some just get good things thrown at them even though they don't live to go half of what these other believers are doing.

Am just trying to understand, maybe there's no answer to my question, we can't tell why God allows some to suffer and others not.
