We need real believers in politics
BlogEspecially in the seat of governance, where critical, life-changing decisions are made about you and me, I find it baffling that Christian leaders would sit back and allow unbelievers to rule over us. And when I say "unbelievers," I’m not just referring to people of different faiths but also to those who claim Christianity yet quickly compromise biblical principles for their selfish gains.
Watching the film *God's Not Dead: In God We Trust* reinforced one idea for me: it *is* possible, and indeed necessary, for Christians to get involved in politics. Despite the widespread belief that "politics is a dirty game," you don’t have to compromise your values to participate in it. I really wish more believers would step into the political arena. If there's one area that desperately needs the light of Christ, it's politics.
We can't hand politics over to unbelievers and expect a prosperous future for everyone. It’s essential that we inject strong, unashamed believers into the political sphere, not to play the game as it is, but to bring transformation. Until that happens, I truly believe the country will continue to struggle.
