The Come Alive movement has come to stay and is getting bigger. As part of the event line up for the promulgation of the movement, Christian hip hop collective, S.I Unit, launched the Come Alive tour on 21st June, 2013 at Ghana Christian International High School. The school was the first venue on their tour calendar. The ‘Vimming’ artist, Psalm One a.k.a The Christ Junkie, the spectacular dance crew, Worship in Motion and the Come Alive team were present to support the Christian hip hop collective. The concert was opened following a word of prayer by the M.C and a worship session by the school’s worship team. Worship in Motion charged the crowd with their breath taking dance moves to spirit filled tunes. There was never a single boring moment in their ministration. Shouts of awe filled the hall as they danced to ‘Mawu’, Testament’s remix to ‘Kaalu’ by E.L. It was an amazing ministration to begin the concert with! Flag bearers of the Come Alive movement, S.I Unit took the stage after Worship in Motion. They performed their hit single ‘Come Alive Anthem’ followed by three other songs from their ‘Incoming Mixtape’. God was glorified even as the students were being entertained by the hip hop collective. The hype of their performance was seen as G.K (1 out 5 members of the collective), sent his performance into the crowd. It was awesome! Psalm One graced the stage with ‘Chaleey more vim’, ‘Mr Attitude’ and some freestyle tunes. His spoken word piece got the students laughing their hearts out. It was a blessing seeing these students being entertained by Godly entertainers who have hearts for soul winning. C.E.O of Narrow Road Records, Mr Michael Yevu shared a sermon as the concert almost got to an end. He preached a heartfelt message on ‘How to be Spiritually Strong’. He made it clear according to scripture that there are spiritual strong holds, principalities, powers and rulers that rule over the darkness of this world. It is time we come alive and let the spirit inside us be led by the Holy Spirit! The curtains were drawn as the concert came to an end with a heated spirit filled ministration by S.I Unit. The hip hop collective served the students with the hit song from their ‘Incoming mixtape’, ILMD (I Love My Daddy). Come Alive tour’s first stop, Ghana Christian International High School was great! All glory to the giver of life. Come Alive! The Spirit Gives Life!!!
